Since, I might have time to post another message until after the game… I must say that I am voting for Boise State University [Broncos] in the Fiesta Bowl again Oklahoma University [Sooners] on Jan 1, 2007. (Never heard of the game? Well, its biggest thing since sliced bread up here…) For [...] This year I made some hair dryer holders for my wife and her sisters. Of course, the driving was interesting this morning…..but my new car handled it without any problems. Rock on! =D [...] Monday we went to the Sweet-Montour Elementary School Christmas program. My face was too small to hold the grin I got from watching the children in our church. I even caught myself thinking how great it would be to watch these kids grow up. This is amazing as it came from an individual who [...] A couple of weeks ago we decided to throw a big Christmas party to get to know some people in the area. We invited everyone in the church as well as all our neighbors. Last night was the big night…not many people showed up. =( However, we did get to talk one-on-one with [...] We had a great time last night. The two youth who showed up are excited about doing a book study. We are meeting next Tuesday evening discuss the first part of Chapter One. =) By the way: thank you all for praying – my voice held up through out evening, even during [...] Grrr….. I’m catching a cold! =( much sadness… We are starting a book study for the youth tonight. I know we will have two teenagers with the possibility of a third one. =) Some prayer requests for the meeting: a) That they will show up!
I knew Texas was big into hunting…but allowing "legally blind" people to hunt???? Doesn’t that sound a bit crazy??? To be fair, the law amendment to allow blind folks to hunt with a laset-sighting device as long as they are with another person (who can see). Still – who wants to go hunting [...] |
